This morning: Phillip and Josie in hysteria after the wrong sofa incident

This Morning’s Phillip Schofield took to Instagram to share a hilarious behind-the-scenes clip of a ‘drunk’ Josie Gibson after the pair tried out a range of different vodkas that were broadcast live.

Tuesday’s episode of This Morning saw permanent host Phillip, 59, and Holly’s curator Josie Gibson, 37, try several alternatives to Russian vodka – which led to Some funny moments for the show.

“I just ate two slices of toast this morning,” Phillip admitted as they tried different vodkas.

Then he said to Josie: “I love you!” to which she said, “Now that he’s had a couple of meetings, he tells me he loves me. It was at that time that night when Phillip Schofield told you he loved you!”

When reading the auto text later in the show, Josie said, “I can’t say now, I’ve got too many vodkas!”

Taking to Instagram after the episode aired, Phillip posted a hilarious clip showing Josie trying to say her lines in a pre-recorded segment.

Along with the clip, he wrote: “Note to self, don’t put @josiegibson85 vodka on your phone.”

Josie commented on the post and jokingly asked: “What do we drink 2mrw?”

In the clip, former Big Brother winner Josie repeatedly misses her cue while Phillip laughs and says, “You’re thinking too much!”

Josie said: “I messed up all the time and Phil came to pick me up, I was like a passenger driving nice.

“You shouldn’t be driving at the moment, though, I must say,” Phillip replied.

Josie later said, “Sorry, Phil, I know you’re a really busy man.”

The fan-loving vodka segment aired on This Morning on Tuesday, with plenty of views on Twitter.

One viewer said: “Just loved the Josie and Phillip acting scenes. Looks like vodka and Josie don’t get along. Blessings. But great TV. Sorry Josie, you did my morning x. “

While another wrote: “Absolutely love Josie on vodka, hilarious!!”

This comes as Josie replaces Holly Willoughby on This Morning after she was forced to withdraw from the magazine show when she tested positive for Coronavirus over the weekend.

Josie appeared to be a huge hit with viewers this morning, with many taking to social media to praise the hilarious Bristolian.

One person took to Twitter to say: “Phil and Josie are hilarious together @Schofe @Joshestweet @thismorning.”

“Just watching This Morning, Josie doesn’t have to breathe in fresh air to be so happy,” another said.

A third added: “I love Josie! Can we keep her for every day?”

While a fourth wrote: “@thismorning doesn’t want to kick Holly out of work, but as someone who’s been watching the show since September due to breast cancer and treatment, I love Josie being with Phil: the analogy lovely work.”
