TODAY big bank holiday changes as UK drops travel rules

TIME-consuming and costly travel rules have been abandoned, giving Brits going abroad a huge boost.
away 4 amlengthy Passenger Locator Forms have been dropped along with Covid tests for unvaccinated Brits.
The changes were made ahead of the Easter holidays and will save travelers time and money.
We’ve compiled a full list of travel changes as of today.
Passenger Locator Forms scrapped
The scrapping of PLFs is today’s big change and the only one affecting vaccinated travelers.
The form had to be completed by all those entering the UK, asking for information about your travel dates, address and vaccination status.
Although the form was simplified last month, it was still time-consuming and an added hassle for travelers, so vacationers will be relieved they don’t have to do it anymore.

Pre-departure tests canceled due to non-vaxation
Pre-departure tests have been cancelled for vaccinated Brits as early as January, but have been retained for unvaccinated travelers.
But from today nobody has to do it anymore – regardless of the vaccination status.
The second day tests were canceled because of Unvaxxed
Testing on the second day was also suspended for vaccinated Britons in February.
To date, unvaccinated Britons have had to take them – but that is no longer the case.
Airlines are waiving mandatory face masks
A growing number of airlines are ditching mandatory face masks on board, with more rules being dropped this week.
British Airways is scrapping masks last in the footsteps of Jet2 and TUIwhile Virgin Atlantic has said they are dropping them on flights to the Caribbean.
Ryanair Mandatory masks are expected to be dropped in the coming weeks as boss Michael O’Leary said they will likely be scrapped by spring.
According to the evening standardhe said he hopes to see the end of masks on planes by “late April or May.”
In addition, Heathrow Airport waiver of mandatory face masks, giving passengers the choice to wear one or not.

These are the vacation destinations that unvaccinated children can travel – and those who can’t.
We rounded them up 54 countries to travel to without doing a single Covid test.
