Tom Hanks Son Chet Hanks has stated that despite growing up with an Oscar-winning father, he has no one to turn to and has never had a ‘strong male role model’ in his life.

The 31-year-old denigrated his famous father in a seemingly scathing attack as he opened up about the difficulties of growing up with a Hollywood star as a father figure.

In his most recent YouTube video, Chet talked about his upbringing, admitting that he faced prejudice because of who his family grew up with.

“I don’t have a strong male role model to say to me, ‘Dude, they don’t have these guys. They’re just jealous of you,'” Chet said of the disrespect he suffered. from peers for wealth, fame and being seen as ‘arrogance, entitlement and perversion’.

“You have all the things they want, so they’re trying to get f**king to throw their shade at you so you can feel bad about yourself because they’re jealous.” I need to hear that,” he continued.

“I have no one to tell me that. This is me now telling a younger version of myself what I needed to hear then. “

The rapper went on to emphasize that people had ‘decided’ about him before knowing him.

“It is very difficult to tear down their walls,” he said.

Chet added that due to his ‘tough looks’, many of his haters never told him what they thought of him directly, but spoke badly of him behind his back.

“People did a lot of things with me growing up. It never came to my face,” he recalls.

“It was always behind my back in the form of gossip and chatter.

“My experience was even more complicated because at the height of my toxic popularity, I wasn’t even famous.

“I’m just the son of a celebrity, so I haven’t even done anything to deserve any kind of recognition, and that generates a lot of contempt.”

Sleepless in Seattle star Tom, 65, has sons Chet and Truman, 26, with his wife, Rita Wilson.

The Hollywood actor is also a proud father to son Colin, 44, and daughter Elizabeth, 39, whom he shares with his late first wife Samantha Lewes.
