According to Tony Bloom, Albion are not under pressure to sign players despite Yves Bissouma’s departure to Tottenham.
The Seagulls are being linked with several midfielders who could be seen as a replacement for the Mali international.
But Bloom downplayed the need for the purchase and believes the squad remains the strongest Albion has ever had.
The club chairman said: “Yves is a great loss. He’s been great for us for a few years.
“We knew he was very likely to leave so it’s no surprise and we wish him the best at Tottenham.
“But we have a very strong squad.
