Top games releasing in February: Elden Ring, Horizon Forbidden West, Dying Light 2 and more


Give yourself a pat on the back, friends; you made it. You’ve trudged through the long January evenings – no doubt, you shouldn’t pass up cheap food because it’s an uncomfortably long gap between paychecks – and now we’re entering. February. Acclaim?

Well, maybe celebrate. Things to receive expensive. It’s been a big month for games. 2022 continues the campaign of trying to bust us all, unabated, and even if you have a taste… a little more niche than your average player, the next 28 days will certainly there’s something for you.

If you like your adventures a little more colorful and hopeful, there’s always Forbidden Horizon in the West, which somehow looks better on PS4 Pro than a lot of PS5 games. We can expect to see it – finally, after some delay – launches on the expected release date of February 18, 2022.

If you prefer undead action – while experimenting with a bit of parkour – February 2022 is also in your favor. Dying Light 2 hits shelves for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Switch (as a cloud version) on February 4th. And if you’re concerned that it won’t be too long, worry no right; Techland developer recently confirmed there will be at least five years of content value after release for games.

And they are just the headlines! We also have Life is Strange Remastered Collection (PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Switch, Stadia) on February 1st. Then there’s the awesome OlliOlli’s World (PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Switch) on February 8. King of Fighters 15 in books too, Grid Legends and Sifu!
