Torchlight: Infinite Delays Closed Beta 2 – teases new gameplay

Are you looking forward to Torchlight: Infinite? After a somewhat disappointing Torch III The franchise has found a new developer, new platforms, and according to the latest developer blog, new gameplay! With the closed beta test on the way, the team at XD has rolled out some new features, but says they’ll have to push the test back a few days to the end of April.

Torchlight: Infinite will take the exam again. According to the latest review, the game was available on both Android and mobile devices, and while this review seems to follow suit, XD has mentioned their plans to offer multi-platform testing in the future and eventually bring the game to mobile and consoles too publish and PC platforms. After the last test, the development team has been working hard, making changes and announcing new gameplay features. Three new game modes have been introduced in the latest blog.

Invasion of the Dark Wave: The Dark Surge Invasion is a new game feature that introduces players to a new effect called Corrosion Meter. During regular and Netherrealm gameplay, players will encounter situations that increase the Corrosion Gauge, and when it fills up, the game will spawn a Dark Surge Invasion where Aemberons will be summoned in large numbers and the player must defeat them in order to to survive . These special enemies also drop gear and legendary weapons with unique affixes.

Way of the brave: Path of the Brave is a new game mode unlocked after players reach time marker 5 in the Netherrealm. The new mode plays similarly to a tower challenge mode, where every time you complete a floor you advance to the next. Challenge mode rewards players for completing the challenge, and every 5 floors the player can complete increases their potential rewards.

New Netherrealm Difficulty: Finally, XD has stated that the Netherrealm challenge is here to stay, but they have decided to test a whole new difficulty called Spacetime Turbulence. The new mode will play similarly to the other difficulties, only much harder, and the rewards will of course be bigger – IF you can complete it!

These are just a few of the changes that players will be able to test out when the next phase of the closed beta goes live in late April.
