TOTTENHAM are ready to bring back Antonio Conte with £50m for Diego Carlos and Adama Traore.
Spurs yesterday entered the race with the new super-rich club Newcastle for Sevilla centre-back Carlos.
And Conte’s team is set to make an improvement offer for Wolves man’s widow Traore after being rejected £15m offer.
Tottenham’s Italian boss has also expressed an interest in Manchester United’s Jesse Lingard, who has subject of a second Newcastle loan bid last night.
Toon director Eddie Howe has not given up hope of signing Carlos despite Sevilla insisting the defender will stay in Spain.
But the Magpies’ chance to bring in the Brazilian could come true as Tottenham have joined the chase.
Conte is keen to add to his squad before the window closes at the end of the month as they battle for Champions League spots.
AC Milan are also interested in Carlos but have yet to meet Newcastle’s initial £30m offer, which has yet to prove successful.
Carlos, 28, played for the Spanish side on Wednesday in a 1-1 draw against Valencia, with assistant coach Pablo Sanz announcing he would then stay until the end of the season.

He is expected to play against Celta Vigo tomorrow but Newcastle are still hoping for a breakthrough in negotiations soon.
The Magpies also want a long-term deal for Lingard after their opening loan offer was rejected.
But the midfielder does not want to stick with a long-term contract with the Old Trafford team in the summer.
However, Toon chiefs are confident they can secure a departure for the 29-year-old until the end of the season.
The Red Devils want a permanent transfer and rejected Newcastle’s offer on Wednesday, which includes a £1.5m loan fee.
But the Tynesiders are back with an improved package with England hopeful Lingard desperate for first-team action ahead of this winter’s World Cup in Qatar.
He has not started a Prem game for United – the club he joined as a 7-year-old – this season and is set to leave Old Trafford in the summer after turning down a new contract.
