Tottenham could use Giovani Lo Celso as bait to rob Newcastle of Sevilla defender Diego Carlos

GIOVANI LO CELSO may be about to leave Tottenham.
The Argentinian was left out of the Spurs squad on Sunday 0-2 defeat against Chelsea – although he tweeted that he was healthy and ready.
Sevilla are said to be interested in signing Lo Celso and the North Londoners could use him as bait to take over Newcastle backs Brazilian midfielder Diego Carlos.
Lo Celso, 25, was signed from Real Betis for £27.2m two years ago after a successful loan spell.
But form and fitness have limited him to just two Premier League games this season.
As an important Argentina player, he is often unable to produce top-notch performances for his club.
A quiet character, he has a reputation for being a bit of a loner off the field.
He is clearly not in the long-term plans of new coach Antonio Conte.

Meanwhile, Tottenham try to reduce the load Tanguy Ndombele in this transfer window may be hindered by Paris Saint-Germain’s squad size.
Spurs are desperate to get the Frenchman £180,000-a-week off their wage bill and the £65m failed side are keen to get back on the Channel.
PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino is said to be interested in an initial loan deal for the player he signed for Spurs from Lyon in July 2019.
But with about 30 senior stars already on his roster, he may have to change one or two before he can bring in Ndombele.
