TOTTENHAM fans are delighted that Tanguy Ndombele has been left out of their squad to face Chelsea tonight.
Midfielder wants to be booing in the yard as he strolled by after a lackluster performance in Sunday’s FA Cup win over Morecambe.
And Antonio Conte heeded the taunts of his supporters by leaving Ndombele off Wednesday Carabao Cup match lineup.
The player was out of the picture when Tottenham revealed their starting lineup and bench.
Ndombele currently faces an uncertain future in London, less than three years after a £55m move from Lyon.
But Conte has garnered support from supporters on Twitter, with many revealing the coach’s brutal decision.
One said: “Ndombele isn’t in the squad, we’re going back to that midfield.”
Another wrote: “Harvey White is in the squad ahead of Ndombele telling you all you need to know.”
One tweeted: “Great to see his antics in the final game go unnoticed at the club.”
Another added: “Safe to say Ndombele is gone.”
It remains to be seen now where Ndombele will end up this month, with reports suggesting he wants a transfer.
Barcelona and Roma have both been linked with the move.
But it is believed that no club is willing to make a bid for a permanent transfer.
That’s because Ndombele is on a £200,000-a-week contract with Tottenham that runs until 2025.
And it means a loan deal may be the only option for both the player and the club.
