Conte’s Rodon Confession
Tottenham Hotspur boss Antonio Conte has welcomed Joe Rodon after the defender put in some impressive performances on international duty for Wales.
The centre-back helped his country advance to the World Cup play-offs as Wales beat Austria 2-1. And after that result, Rodon was highly praised by his club manager, who called the defender a “great man”.
And according to football.london, Conte has now thrown down the gauntlet to keep Rodon progressing and “working hard”.
Kane called “crazy”.
Harry Kane has been called a ‘maniac’ by a former Tottenham team-mate Joe Hart.
The former Spurs goalkeeper spoke about his old team-mate as he explained exactly what he’s hiring England Captain stands out from his peers and makes him the “perfect” player. The two played together at Tottenham last season and Kane made a significant impression on Hart, who is now enjoying life with Scottish side Celtic.
Hart says Kane is a “maniac” for managing to still improve despite his advanced age, hailing the forward’s “mentality and work ethic”.
Conte’s top 4 prediction
Antonio Conte said it will take a “miracle” for his side to qualify for next season’s Champions League – and their success will depend on Manchester United.
Spurs improved theirs First League Form in recent weeks to keep their Champions League hopes alive but still trail bitter rivals Arsenal by three points, while the Gunners also have a game in hand for Conte’s side. But it’s United the Spurs boss seems more concerned about in the race for a place in the top four as he took on his side’s “very, very, very difficult” challenge.
