Tottenham Hotspur boss Antonio Conte is reportedly poised to become Paris Saint-Germain’s next manager.
Despite being crowned Ligue 1 champions on Saturday, former Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino has had a difficult season with the club after being knocked out on penalties by Nice in the French Cup and being beaten by them real Madrid in which Champions League KO phases. That has led to rumors that the Argentine will be sacked by PSG ‘imminently’ – and Conte could be the man to replace him.
It comes as Spurs brace themselves for a potentially bombastic summer amid reports Harry Kane could also leave the club. and Tottenham Inter Milan striker Martin Satriano is being eyed as a potential replacement. Conte’s Brentford verdict and summer plans
Antonio Conte reportedly “hardly spoke” to his players in the dressing room after the 0-0 draw with Brentford.

The report also adds that the game has influenced Conte’s desire to bring seven new faces into the summer transfer window – while 10 players could leave. And he’s said to want to use higher quality players – similar to those he’s grown accustomed to working with juventus, Chelsea and Inter Milan.
Kane replacement targeted
Spurs are eyeing Inter Milan striker Martin Satriano as a possible replacement for Harry Kane.
England captain Kane missed a big transfer move Manchester City last summer and reports continue to link him to a move from north London. That has left Spurs on the lookout for potential replacements and the club’s scouts were impressed by the Uruguayan Satriano during his loan spell at Brest this season.
The forward has four goals in 11 games – although Chelsea are also following the forward’s progress.
Conte’s PSG offer
Antonio Conte has reportedly offered to take over at Paris Saint-Germain amid questions about Mauricio Pochettino’s future.
The Argentine is widely expected to be removed from his role as PSG boss after the club failed to reach this season’s Champions League round of 16. And according to Le Parisien (via GFFN ), Pochettino will be removed from PSG ‘immediately’ and Conte is ready to join Paris on a two-year deal.
That could spell disaster for Spurs after the Italian only took over the club in November following Nuno Espirito Santo’s short-lived reign.
