Antonio Conte has spoken about his ‘ambition’ after being linked with taking over the managerial post at Paris Saint-Germain.
Former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is expected to leave PSG this summer despite guiding his side to the Ligue 1 title. That has led to Conte being linked with the job and he has now voiced his desire to “fight for a lot more” than he was at Spurs recently.
The Tottenham manager has also been handed an unwanted Dejan Kulusevski surrender in his side’s top-four battle arsenal. And Barry Hearn has remembered his battle for Dave Mackay’s autograph.

Hearns hunting for an autograph
Barry Hearn waited 40 years to land Spurs legend Dave Mackay’s signature – after the former player told him to ‘flip’.
Mackay was part of the legendary 1961 double-winning team, with former Leyton Orient owner Hearn often watching the team as a youngster. Speaking to Mirror Football, he now recalled the first time he asked Mackay for an autograph and his 40-year hunt to finally get the coveted signature.
Undesirable Kulusevski task
Antonio Conte has the unwanted task of helping Dejan Kulusevski reverse his recent form as Spurs chase Champions League Qualification.
The Spurs winger has been incredibly calm lately and had no bearing on the 1-0 loss to him Brighton & Hove Albion and 0-0 v Brentford. And while he wasn’t the only Spurs player to struggle in recent games, Conte hopes he can help Kulusevski achieve the high standards he’s set with his lightning-fast start to life in north London.
And the Spurs boss’ success could be key to their decision First League Destiny with only five games of the season left.
Conte’s “ambition”
Spurs boss Antonio Conte says he wants to “fight for a lot more” after being linked with the manager’s job at Paris Saint-Germain.
Mauricio Pochettino’s failure to impress in the Champions League after seeing his side KO’d real Madrid could ultimately cost him his job in the French capital, with Conte linked to replacing him. And Conte has said the ambition of the Spurs hierarchy will ultimately determine where his long-term future lies.
And Conte has now said he “likes to have ambition” and “fights for a place in the Champions League” as Spurs battle for fourth place in the Premier League.
