Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur have gained a three-point lead over north London rivals Arsenal as both clubs battle for the final Champions League qualifying spot in the Premier League.

Lloris claimed

Tottenham Hotspur hat-trick hero Son Heung-min has praised goalkeeper Hugo Lloris following his performance against Aston Villa.

The Spurs captain made a series of impressive saves in the first half as Spurs went 1-0 up at the break. And Son has said Lloris “saved” the side despite his own exploits “like Superman” as the South Korean striker scored an impressive three goals.

And football.london reports that the Spurs forward said his side might have lost if Lloris hadn’t pointed between the sticks.

Maddison transfer hit

Arsenal could have an advantage over Tottenham Hotspur as the bitter rivals scramble to sign James Maddison from Leicester City this summer.

Spurs and Arsenal are reportedly interested in the midfield playmaker ahead of the summer transfer window. But Maddison’s previous claims about Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka could suggest Maddison would be interested in playing weekly with the England star at club level.
