Antonio Conte assesses Liverpool draw

Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville has backed Antonio Conte’s “brilliant” Tottenham Hotspur side to defeat Arsenal in Thursday night’s north London derby.

The two sides meet at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with both seasons at stake as they battle to secure the last Premier League spot in the top four – and a spot in next season’s Champions League. And while Spurs are currently four points behind their bitter rivals in the standings, Neville believes they can win Thursday night’s crunch game.

It comes as Martin Odegaard has spoken out about the game as he ramped up the pressure on Spurs ahead of the game. And Tottenham have suffered a management blow when Graham Potter dismissed claims he could replace Antonio Conte should the Italian join Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

And the midfielder said “all that matters is getting the three points”.

It follows an impressive tenure as manager of Brighton, who reached new heights in last weekend’s 4-0 win over Manchester United.
