Mourinho’s frosty response
Former Spurs manager Jose Mourinho gave a blunt answer to questions about a brawl between Roma and the Bodo/Glimt coaching staff last week.
Footage emerged after the sides’ Europa Conference League quarter-final first leg, which Mourinhos Roma lost 2-1. Footage shows Bodo/Glimt manager Kjetil Knutsen and Roma goalkeeping coach Nuno Santos fighting in the tunnel after the game, with both being suspended for the second leg at the Stadio Olimpico.
And Mourinho was in a typically upbeat mood when asked about the events leading up to the tie.
Son sent a message to Man City
Son Heung-min has been said to be the best player at his position in the Premier League.
The South Korea international scored an impressive hat-trick in Saturday’s 4-0 win over Aston Villa, a feat that Darren Bent believes has overtaken Sadio Mane as the best at his position. Bent thinks Son would either go to Liverpool or Manchester City Teams currently in contention for the title as he called him more consistent than Reds ace Mane.
Top 4 Boost
Arsenal legend Ian Wright believes there is “no way” his club can steal a top four spot from Tottenham.
Spurs were three points ahead of their north London rivals at the weekend after clinching a 4-0 win over Aston Villa as Arsenal suffered a 2-1 defeat at home Brighton. The Gunners also have a much worse goal difference and Wright believes their struggles up front, coupled with recent injuries, have seen Antonio Conte’s side qualify for the Champions League.
