Tottenham Hotspur striker Heung-min Son has a crucial advantage in this season’s Premier League Golden Boot race.

The Spurs forward has 21 league goals this season currently, while Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah is just above him at 22. And with just one game left to play, the Egyptian son has one key advantage – his vastly better conversion rate.

It comes as reported summer transfer target Paulo Dybala has said an emotional farewell to current club Juventus. And Eric Dier has launched a subtle altercation with former Spurs boss Jose Mourinho.

Son’s Golden Boot Advantage

Heung-min Son holds a crucial advantage over Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah ahead of the last week of this season’s Premier League games.

With both players hoping to be crowned Golden Boot of the Year winners, the two forwards are hoping they can find the back of the net in their remaining games. Salah has 22 goals so far this season while Son is set at 21, but the Spurs forward’s conversion rate suggests he could overtake his rival.

While Salah averaged 3.8 shots per 90 minutes and Son just 2.22, the South Korea international’s conversion rate sits at 28.28 percent – well above Salah’s 17.74.

Dybala says goodbye to Juventus

Tottenham Hotspur’s reported target Paulo Dybala has given an emotional farewell to Juventus and the club’s supporters.

The Argentine attacker is out of contract in the summer. His agent had reportedly flown to London last week to hold talks with a number of Premier League teams about a potential move. While the player has visibly enjoyed his time at Juventus, he has now admitted that “destiny takes us down different paths”.

And the forward insists he gave the club “everything” before his season-ending departure.

Dier’s Mourinho dig?

Eric Dier appeared to engage in a subtle altercation with former Spurs manager Jose Mourinho after the side’s 1-0 win over Burnley.

Kane struck from 12 yards in first-half stoppage time after referee Kevin Friend ruled the ball flicked down Ashley Barnes’ outstretched arm after a VAR check to end Champions League qualifying hopes for Antonio’s side to keep Conte alive. The result propelled Spurs into the top four in the Premier League and Dier praised Conte after the win.

With Conte being linked with a summer move to Paris Saint-Germain, Dier insisted the manager’s relationship with his players was “special” as it would be a “real shame if it ended now”.
