Tottenham Hotspur could face a major blow as chief executive Fabio Paratici faces a 16-month football ban.
That’s the sentence investigators in Italy are seeking for the Spurs boss as part of a lawsuit over capital gains fraud. It comes as Tottenham manager Antonio Conte was tipped to replace Harry Kane Chelsea Striker Romelu Lukaku, the England captain was due to leave the club at the end of the season.
And Conte has imposed the same ban on Sweden winger Dejan Kulusevski as he has on Belgium striker Lukaku while they worked together at Inter Milan.

Dejan Kulusevski was given the same food ban that Romelu Lukaku had to deal with while working under Antonio Conte at Inter Milan.
Lukaku blasted Inter to their first Serie A title in a decade and played in inspired form under Conte at the San Siro. And his good torrent return of 64 goals in 95 games during his time at the club was due in no small part to the strict regime Conte imposed on him, banning the striker from eating sweets and sugary drinks.
And Conte seems to be working his magic again as he gives Kulusevski the same treatment as Lukaku.
Tottenham chief executive Fabio Paratici is one of several people named in connection with a capital gains fraud case in Italy.
juventus Chairman Andrea Agnelli, the club’s vice-chairman Pavel Nedved, and people linked to 10 other clubs including Napoli, Sampdoria, Empoli and Genoa could also face bans if found guilty. Those on trial are accused of inflating transfer fees, with a number of cases forming the prosecutor’s case. The trial began on Tuesday and will continue later in the week, with prosecutors also seeking a €800,000 (£667,000) fine for Juventus.
Lukaku tapped into replacing Kane
Former Spurs striker Darren Bent has advised Antonio Conte to replace Harry Kane with Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku should the England captain change clubs this summer.
Kane was linked to Manchester United, while a move to Man City fell through last year when Daniel Levy refused to lower his claims on his talismanic striker. And according to Bent, Conte is likely to want a Lukaku reunion should Kane leave after working with the Belgium international at Inter Milan.
Lukaku has been struggling since his return to Stamford Bridge last summer and he could reportedly be on the move by the end of the season too.
