Touching new picture of Prince William released as a father of three marks Father’s Day

A heartwarming family photo of Prince William and his children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, taken while on holiday in the Middle East, has been released to mark Father’s Day

A sweet photo of Prince William with his children was released for Father’s Day.

The picture shows the Duke of Cambridge laughing with his arms around eight-year-old Prince George and seven-year-old Princess Charlotte, while four-year-old Prince Louis sits on his shoulders.

It was taken while the Cambridge family vacationed in Jordan last autumn.

The adorable picture was taken on the same day as the family photo that graced the front of her Christmas card.

It showed William sitting on a gold stool next to Kate, and the two eldest children sitting next to them, while Louis sat at his mother’s feet on what appeared to be a sheepskin rug.

The images were taken during a trip to the ancient city of Petra, which is one of the seven new wonders of the world announced in 2007 after 100 million votes.

The UNESCO World Heritage site in the southwestern desert of Jordan dates back to 300 BC. and was the capital of the kingdom of the Nabataeans.

It contains tombs and temples carved into pink sandstone cliffs and featured in films such as Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and The mummy returns .

William and Kate know Jordan well, having spent three years of her early childhood there while her father, Michael Middleton, was a flight dispatcher for British Airways whose work took him to the country’s Middle Eastern capital, Amman.

William paid an official royal visit in 2018 and said at the time: “My wife Catherine is very sorry that she is not able to be here with me so soon after the birth of our son Louis, but her family has fond memories of almost three years , where she was spent here as a child when her father was working for British Airways in Amman.

“Catherine’s experience is not unique – the exchanges between our two countries are real and intense: work, study, tourism and family ties.

“Our historic connections and friendships play out in the lives of thousands of people who call both countries home.”

The Father’s Day photo shows William with a big smile while the children smile cheekily with their mouths open.

The Duke and his eldest son wear casual khaki outfits, while the younger children wear navy and white tops.

They appear in high spirits, much like Louis’ mischievous antics at the Platinum Jubilee Pageant that captured the hearts of the nation.

Louis grimaced as he sat on members of his family’s laps to watch the show.

He let out a howl and slammed his ears on the balcony of Buckingham Palace during the RAF flypast on Thursday as his “Gan Gan,” the Queen, sweetly told him what was going on.
