However, Tower of Fantasy takes it to the extreme with over a dozen types of resources to manage simultaneously.

It can feel confusing when you’re just starting out, but don’t worry we’re here to explain it all.

Check out our list of all Tower of Fantasy currencies, how to earn them and where to spend them.

How to earn gold in Tower of Fantasy?

Starting with the basics, gold is the main currency in the world and allows you to buy things like cooking ingredients from NPCs.

You can also use it to buy weapon and equipment upgrades.

Gold is everywhere on the map; in chests, in missions, as progress rewards, as login bonuses, etc.

You can also use it to convert to other types of currencies.

What is the difference between red, gold and black cores in Tower of Fantasy?

Nuclei is one of the most important currencies in the Tower of Fantasy world.

They are used to collect players, weapons, and progression materials from the game’s gacha system called “Special Orders”.

There are three types and all give different rewards.

That Red Core is for limited banners that are only temporary in the game. Rewards include the rarest type of character, SSRs.

That gold core is used with the standard banner and can contain SSR characters.

Every 80 Gold Cores you spend will guarantee you this rare type of character.

That Black core are fed into the second permanent banner, which contains only the more common SR characters.

Gold and Black Cores can be found by exploring the map.

You also earn them as rewards for missions as you level up and by opening chests.

However, these resources will be depleted over time, and eventually you will have to trade other currencies to get them.

How to get Black Gold in Tower of Fantasy?

If you use Gold Cores to get Gacha, you’ll also get a small amount of Black Gold.

Black Gold can be used to buy weapon upgrade materials and copies of weapons you already own.

You need these to use your weapon’s full potential, which is something you can do in the Gun Shop.

How to collect Dark Crystal in Tower of Fantasy?

If you’re familiar with Genshin Impact, Dark Crystal is the easiest to compare to Primogems.

Dark Crystal can be exchanged for a variety of items in the HOT Store, including Red, Gold, and Black Nuclei.

Like other currencies, it can be found in chests, as mission rewards, as progression rewards, and more.

What is Proof of Purchase in Tower of Fantasy?

While the name is a bit odd, proof of purchase is another gacha currency you can use on special orders.

Unlike Nuclei, using these will reward you with weapon upgrade materials called Matrices.

Each Matrix you apply to a weapon gives it a special bonus.

If you use 40 proof of purchase you are guaranteed a rare SSR matrix.

Where do I trade black chips in Tower of Fantasy?

Like black gold, black chips drop when you use proof of purchase to get matrices.

If you bring these to the Matrix Store, you can then exchange them for Matrix Crates.

Where to get energy crystals in Tower of Fantasy?

Energy Crystal Dust can be used to buy things in the Crystal Dust Store.

Here you can find gear and gifts for your characters that give them awakening points.

With the right gifts, traits and avatars will be unlocked for them.

Energy Crystal Dust is earned as a reward for activities that use Vitality.

How to use Vitality in Tower of Fantasy?

If we compare this to Genshin Impact again, Vitality is the game version of Resin.

Every day you log in you can earn 180 Vitality to play special multiplayer and solo activities.

You can refresh your Vitality by purchasing an item containing Dark Crystals.

Completing missions that require Vitality will earn you rewards including Energy Crystal Dust.

What are Tower of Fantasy activity points?

Each week you’ll receive a Mini Battle Pass, which upon completion rewards you with items and currency.

When you do certain tasks, such as For example, opening multiple chests or logging in multiple times will earn you activity points.

Rewards for doing so include Dark Crystal and Merit XP, which level up other available Battle Passes.

What is the difference between Merit and Merit XP in Tower of Fantasy?

Unfortunately, Merit XP isn’t the only currency called Merit in Tower of Fantasy.

Merit XP serves as an experience of sorts to level up Battle Passes, while Merit is the currency used in the Crew Shop.

Here you can buy items to improve your equipment.

Merits are earned by participating in activities with your Crew, the game version of a guild.

How to get support points and return support points in Tower of Fantasy?

Tower of Fantasy encourages newcomers to play by offering Support Points as a reward.

Return assist points are equally earned by teaming up with someone who has returned to the game after an extended hiatus.

The team hopes this system will create welcoming support for newcomers and returning players alike.

You can use these points to purchase cores and other items from the support store.

What can I exchange Training Points for in Tower of Fantasy?

You can earn training points by completing tasks at the training stations located around the map.

These activities include finishing battles within a certain time limit or scoring a number of goals in a soccer match.

Training points can be spent in the Points Store, which offers you XP materials and gifts for your characters.

What is Tower of Fantasy’s Tanium?

Tanium is Tower of Fantasy’s premium currency, only obtainable by spending real money.

It can be exchanged for Daily Supplies, which are packs containing various other currencies such as Nuclei and Dark Crystals.

What is the purpose of the amusement park in Tower of Fantasy?

As you use the various attractions at the amusement park on Cetus Island, you’ll receive tickets that you can exchange for exclusive rewards.
