The much-loved ITVBe reality series was slated to begin filming in the coming weeks but has now been pushed back due to plans for a fascinating trip for the cast.
TOWIE’s Series 30 has been delayed due to Covid restrictions and now bosses show a desire to make sure the sequel is well worth the wait.
A source said: “Towie is still extremely popular with viewers and it’s a shame that filming has had to be delayed.
“But the producers were keen to make sure the new series was brilliant and that a glamorous new location was just what they needed.
“Dubai is at the top of their list and it’s no surprise that the cast is hoping for it to succeed. Either way, they all just want to come back to shoot the movie,” they added to The Sun. .
While location requests have yet to be commented on, a representative for TOWIE told The Mirror: “Last month, we announced that TOWIE’s next series has been pushed back to the end of the year.”

Just last month, the cast of Chloe Brockett admitted they were hoping to go overseas for the new film.
She told the publication: “The season was delayed because we wanted to film without Covid restrictions and be able to stand side by side.
“We wanted to do a long trip abroad and because the TV restrictions are so much stricter to do that at the moment would be very difficult.”
In the past, previous series have seen the cast travel to Barcelona, Ibiza and Marbella to shoot scenes and special episodes.
