Yazmin Oukhellou has revealed how her experience with domestic abuse once caused her to contemplate suicide.

The TOWIE star, 27, took to Instagram on Saturday to recall her suffering during a time when she claims she was “beaten, belittled and blackmailed with private photos”.

Yazmin – who did not name her alleged abuser – also revealed how she would describe a “perfect” life with her family in her friends, but the reality is “worse than you can be”. imagine”.

She said she found the strength to leave the relationship after a particular incident left her worried that the next time something happens, “her parents won’t have their young daughter left. them too”.

“I have been a victim of domestic abuse. Physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually,” Yasmine told his 673,000 followers on Saturday morning.

She continued: “I wasn’t ready to talk about it until now but I feel that what happened to me, this is hard to say, it’s like this happened for a reason. do.

“So now I can put my platform to good use and help as many of you as I can get through just like I did.”

The Essex-born girl then went on to reveal the extent of the alleged abuse and how it made her feel suicidal.

“I’ve been beaten, bruised, scared for my life so many times and even thinking about ending my own life where I feel worthless and I can’t find my way out. exit,” she explained in her Instagram caption.

“I was blackmailed with my private photos, beaten, belittled, made me feel crazy, cheated on, and isolated from family and friends.

She continued: “I look back now and cannot believe why I stayed so long and how I allowed myself to be treated so horribly.

“I just walked away when things went awry and my face was bruised and bloody and I knew that the next time this happens, my parents won’t have a little girl anymore,” she said. remember.

“Then something inside of me flared up and I knew that I did NOT deserve to be tortured like this anymore and it was NOT my fault even though I ‘talked so much’ or didn’t ‘think before I speak’.”

Continuing her statement in the comments section, Yasmin explained that after undergoing “intense therapy” and talking to loved ones, she decided it was her purpose to share her story and helping others.
