Trade Meat Goods in the Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator, available now on Switch

Strange Scaffold’s hit indie title Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator was released last December via Game Pass for PC and Xbox. Surprisingly, however, the developer has announced that his organ trading sim is now available on Nintendo Switch. Well, that’s the fastest deal we’ve seen in a long time!
With a name like Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator, you can tell this is going to be something very different. You are an organ trader who makes profit from body parts. Across space, you’ll trade and sell with unusual clients like a mysterious astronaut named Quartermaster, a mushroom (maybe?) named Farmer Popkin, and “not legally a dog” Chad Shakespeare looks like a dog.
The game is pretty grotesque, but in the right way. Finally, you handle innards. But it is an examination of capitalism through the lens of the meat and organ trade in mid-space. The Switch version includes all previously released DLC from the PC and Xbox versions, including January’s Harvester update. There are also upcoming crossovers with other hit titles encryptionAmong Us and Bugsnax.
But that’s not all. Strange Scaffold is partnering with Serenity Forge to bring out a physical edition of the game. And look, it’s that “dog” again, right there!
Copies of this very neon colored and slightly unsettling Premium Physical Edition included
– A physical Nintendo Switch cartridge containing the game
– An illustrated inner cover
– A beautiful holographic sticker of one of your favorite legal buyers not a dog
– A soundtrack download card for jamming while selling harvested organs
– A folded poster with a unique illustration
– A real, working kidney
– While supplies last, not every specimen will have a kidney
We hope that the latter is not true. We didn’t register as real organ dealers, but as virtual ones! We should have known something was up when the press release asked us if we liked organs.
You can pre-order the physical copy of Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator from the Serenity Forge Store $34.99, with copies to be mailed in the fall. There’s a lot out there for a good price!
If you’re a fan of composer RJ Lake’s game music, you might as well grab this gorgeous looking blood red and money green marbled vinyl set. Pre-orders are also available for the vinyl soundtrack $31.99 by Serenity Forge, and it should ship to you later this year.
However, if you can’t wait, you can now buy the game from the US eShop $19.99. And here’s a small request from us – so on PC the game is Kinect compatible may be could we get some Joy-Con support on Switch? Let’s grab the organs with our hands!
