Trailer for Harry Styles’ new LGBTQ+ drama, filmed in Brighton

A TRAILER has been released for a new Harry Styles film filmed in Brighton.

My Policeman, set in Brighton in the 1950s, sees the singer involved in a love triangle.

The former One Direction star plays Tom Burgess, a married police officer who is secretly gay at a time when homosexuality was illegal.

During the trailer, he can be seen saying, “You don’t know anything about being married, so stop telling me what to think about it.”

The 28-year-old pop star made her acting debut in Christopher Nolan’s war film Dunkirk in 2017 and most recently starred alongside Florence Pugh in Don’t Worry Darling.

My Policeman is based on a 2012 novel of the same name by Bethan Robert and also stars Linus Roaches, Rupert Everett and Line of Duty star Gina McKee.

Filming for the Amazon Studios-produced drama took place across Brighton last year, with filming at locations in Saltdean, Peacehaven and Newhaven.

The trailer shows scenes in the Royal Pavilion and Palace Pier/

The film is slated to hit theaters on October 21 and on Prime Video on November 4. Trailer for Harry Styles’ new LGBTQ+ drama, filmed in Brighton
