Trains do not run from Horsham to Barnham, while trains in the other direction can run at reduced speeds.

Network Rail technicians are on site and examining the track defect.

A Southern Rail spokesman said: “Services between Victoria and Bognor Regis/Portsmouth (via Horsham) are disrupted.

“We cannot drive between Horsham and Barnham towards Portsmouth/Bognor.

“We can still run from Barnham to Horsham but only at reduced speed.”
