“You tend to just hope that your bladder will hold up.

“Two big kids with big heads, it takes a toll on a woman and then as you get older, that situation gets a lot worse.”

But at her weight, Kathleen has lost 8lbs and her water intake is increasing last week.

She said: “What I’ve really noticed about myself is that I feel stronger about myself, which to my surprise.

“I was hoping you would give me exercises and stuff about the pelvic floor muscles but they really make sense because that also really strengthens.

“I could find myself going for a walk outside, I was like, ‘Oh, that’s great walking’.

“And then I went for a jog and said, ‘Oh my God, I feel like I have to squeeze my bladder’.

“But I think average weight pushes you down a lot.”

ENHANCED PELVIC FLOOR

Dr Sumi Dunne on the board of directors told Kathleen she would get more support in this area with a health check.
