Tra’Von Williams Joins Joie Manda’s Encore Recordings As Vice President and Head of Streaming

Tra’Von Williams has joined Encore Recordings as Vice President and Head of Streaming.

The label is launched in November 2021 by music industry veteran Joie Manda.

Prior to joining Encore, Williams was most recently the Director of Streaming Hip Hop and R&B at Epic Profilewhere he has worked with artists including 21 Savage, French Montana, BEAM and Young T & Bugsey.

Prior to Epic Records, Williams was the Streaming Director of the Atlanta-based record label, since the 80s.

Williams will report to Ned Monahan, who was appointed General Manager of Encore in November and previously served as Head of Global Hits at Spotify since 2019.

Encore’s first release, HOME PAGE Mike Dimes’ IN DIMES WE TRUST project, peaked at No.18 on SpotifyEncore says Viral 50 and No.90 on Spotify’s top songs chart in the US.

Above Apple MusicThe single, Encore said, peaked at number 93 on the Top 100: USA chart, while the album rose to number 51 on the Apple Music Overall Albums chart and has accumulated more than 50 million streams to date on Spotify, Encore said.

In January 2022Encore also added two names to its team, Mimi Camara and Tawny Thompson.

Camara is Senior Vice President of Business & Legal, while Thompson joins the company as Controller and Vice President of Finance.
