Treatz Dessert store opening in Western Road, Brighton

A DESSERT shop is celebrating the grand opening of their newest shop today, offering a massive discount.

Treatz Dessert opens tonight from 6pm in Western Road, Brighton and will host a ribbon cutting ceremony alongside the new Mayor of Brighton, Lizzie Deane.

The franchise has grown from its first store in Slough, Berkshire in 2010 to 17 stores across the country including in Brighton.

The store is offering 50 percent off all desserts after it opens tonight.

Szri Ak, Store Manager, said: “We offer all desserts such as waffles, pancakes, gelato, milkshakes.

“We are very excited about opening in Brighton, we are also doing a 50 per cent discount.

“The Mayor of Brighton comes and cuts the ribbon.

“I’m from Eastbourne, we look forward to working here and serving the people of the city.”

The new store has a modern interior with several booths for large groups.

Around 30 jobs will be created in the region.

Mark Jones, Franchise Manager, said: “We are very excited to see the new Treatz restaurant come to life and can’t wait for our customers to experience it for themselves.

“As Treatz continues to evolve and grow, we look forward to sharing this new and revamped luxury restaurant concept across a range of locations across the UK.

“The Treatz menu will continue to offer the finest ingredients to create the ultimate desserts, with a dedicated team ensuring the overall experience is one that will keep customers coming back for more.”

The store is open daily from 11am to 10pm but opens at 6pm today for its big reveal.

The franchise also plans to open stores across the UK including Edinburgh, Watford and several other locations.

By the end of this year there should be more than 20 branches.
