Tribute has been paid to a “gentle and genuine” man who was stabbed to death outside a Wetherspoons pub in west London.
The victim – known locally as Karamjeet Singh – was treated by The Moon Under Water on Staines Road in Hounslow in the early hours of Saturday (25 June).
Met officers and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service rushed to the scene around 12.30am after reports of a “seriously injured man” before he was pronounced dead.
A forensic tent has been erected and a cordon remains in place, with flowers laid nearby.
The 31-year-old is said to have worked at Right Tiles, and colleagues describe him as “popular, kind, gentle and sincere”.

The company took to social media and GoFundMe to share the first images of the man.
Police said formal identification has yet to take place, but the victim’s family has been informed and an autopsy is to take place.
No arrests were made and police are asking those who were in the area at the time of the incident to come forward.
Drivers were also asked to provide dashcam footage.
The GoFundMe page has already raised £2,000 from a £5,000 goal.
A message accompanying the crowdfunder reads: “Karamjeet Singh was the most loved, kindest, gentlest and genuine member of the Right Tiles team. He couldn’t say no to anyone and would do anything to help any colleague or customer.
“He was tragically taken from us this morning, Saturday 25 June. Police are currently investigating the circumstances of this tragic death. He was stabbed a few meters from his home.
“The entire team, customers and dealers are absolutely heartbroken and shocked. We really want to do something for the family.
“So we’re raising money to give something as goodwill to his family. We hope it brings a little relief and helps them grieve at this challenging time.
“Please donate as much as you can so we can see you hit the target and gift it to his parents.”
Chief Inspector Karl Spour of the Met’s BCU West Area said: “My thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who lost his life in this tragic incident.
“I know they will get a lot of support from Met officials as they try to come to terms with what happened.
“Locals will see more officers in and around Staines Road and Hounslow town center in the coming days.
“Our commitment to arresting and prosecuting violent crimes and continuing to reduce the number of people killed or injured on our streets is unreserved.”
Crime Specialist Detective Chief Inspector James Shirley added: “An urgent investigation is underway to determine what happened in the early hours of this morning and who is responsible for this horrific attack
“Our investigation will be comprehensive and thorough, including a full forensic investigation of the area, which is ongoing, and detailed surveys to obtain all available CCTV systems.”
