Trigger Point debuts with Vicky McClure’s bomb disposal unit facing off against terrorists

TRIGGER Point had an eagerly anticipated and anticipated debut Sunday night – but some viewers weren’t pleased about one small detail.
Already in the episode, Vicky McClure was seen coming face-to-face with improvised explosive devices, which forced viewers to sit down on the edge of their seats – but that didn’t last long.
Quickly kicking off the proceedings, McClure’s character – named Lana ‘Wash’ Washington – is seen comforting a civilian with an explosive vest strapped to his body.
But before the action could happen, audiences watching on ITV were quickly taken to the trailer, with some calling the move “killing the movie”.
On Twitter, one person watching from home poured out: “The constant interruption of ads really doesn’t help you with this. Maybe this should be on the BBC. ”
Echoing their comments, another said: “This is why I’m happy to pay TV royalties because it means at least you don’t get ads. Talk about killing the movie. “
Meanwhile, a third are unhappy with the lack of action, adding: “Well, two ads break and barely any action. Maybe they should call this ‘Trigger Bore’ instead. “

Ditch the bra and the foundation for the roleVicky said she wanted to state that “you don’t really need makeup” when playing her new character.
“I think it’s important to strip everything and relax,” said the 38-year-old.
“I mean, my body isn’t completely toned – people will see the real Vicky, as is Lana – I’m not hiding anything.”
Trigger Point continues next Sunday on ITV at 9pm.
