Truck driver (30 years old) dies in overnight Co Limerick crash

A man has died in a road traffic collision involving a lorry and a car in Co Limerick in the early hours of this morning.
ardaí in Rathkeale is investigating the fatal crash that occurred in Killeheen, Rathkeale at around 2:50am.
The male driver and occupant of the truck, in their 30s, were seriously injured in the collision.
His body has been moved from the scene to the University of Limerick Hospital, where an autopsy will be carried out.
The male driver and occupant, in their 50s, were injured in the crash and taken to the University of Limerick Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Gardaí has confirmed that the road is currently closed, the services of a Forensic Collision Investigator have been requested, and local diversions are in progress.
Investigator Gardaí is appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.
Any passerby traveling in the area at the time and who may have camera footage (including dash cams) is asked to provide this footage to Gardaí.
