Alina Habba, an attorney for Donald Trump, said Thursday she was ashamed to be a lawyer after the former president was accused of misusing top-secret documents after he left the White House.
Speaking to Fox News’ Jesse Watters, Habba said the charges were nothing more than an attempt to distract voters from President Joe Biden.
“They say, ‘Oh, look at that shiny ball, Jesse.’ Look at the shiny ball. Let’s go after Trump. Whatever you hear about the Bidens, don’t worry about it. Trump, Trump, Trump.’ They call it Trump Confusion Syndrome and now it’s getting so sick,” she claimed.
“Honestly, at this moment, I’m embarrassed to be a lawyer. I am ashamed. I am ashamed to be a lawyer.”
