At least three people have been killed in a “catastrophic” shooting at an Oklahoma medical center, sources say.

The shooter should also be “down”.

More than 20 police cars and other emergency vehicles are at the Warren Clinic, a medical center where the shooting is believed to have taken place.

Police describe the scene as “catastrophic” as a man with a rifle opened fire inside the building.

A police spokesman said: “At this point in time we can confirm that the shooter is dead.”

But Tulsa Police Cpt. Richard Meulenberg said it was unclear whether police shot the suspect, while adding that no other threat was known at this time.

Police are reportedly searching a building near Saint Francis Hospital.
