Turtle Beach’s new wireless headset works with just about anything

Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2 max is a $200 wireless headset that works with everything from Xbox Series X to PS5, Nintendo Switch, Windows and Mac company has announced. Unlike its predecessor, the Stealth 700 Gen 2 (not Max) was available for $149.95 either Xbox and PCor PlayStation and Nintendo Switch, but not in the same model. It also offers Bluetooth connectivity, unlike Stealth 600 Gen 2 maxwhich means it works with devices like phones and tablets.
The new Stealth 700 Gen 2 Max has also received an increase in battery life, with Turtle Beach claiming that it should be able to last over 40 hours on a single charge. That’s compared to 20 hours on the previous non-Max model. In addition to Bluetooth, which allows it to connect to a companion mobile app to configure the headset’s settings, the Stealth 700 Gen 2 Max also comes with a 2.4GHz wireless USB dongle.
The Stealth 700 Gen 2 Max is available for pre-order now for $199.99 and will be released worldwide on May 8th.
Meanwhile, Turtle Beach says the Stealth 600 Gen 2 Max is $129.99 and the Stealth 600 Gen 2 USB is $99.99 (both announced last month) are available now in Europe and available for pre-order ahead of their May 8 release in North America. The Max is compatible with both PlayStation and Xbox consoles and offers 48 hours of battery life, but the USB model is Xbox-focused and has a 24-hour battery life.
