Twitter ‘DOWN’ to thousands of people worldwide

TWITTER went down on Monday for thousands of users around the world.

The problem seems to mainly affect the social media site down detectorbut there seems to be problems with the app as well.

The problems seem to have started around 10:30pm and since then more than 10,500 problem reports have been logged on the site.

According to Downdetector, 91 percent of the problems were linked to the Twitter website, while four percent were linked to the app.

Another six percent was accounted for by the server connection.

In the UK, the problem appears to be mostly concentrated in London, Birmingham and Manchester.

One person commenting on Downdetector said: “Website issues. Apps ok.”

Another wrote: “Yep totally down. thought I was banned or something!!”

While a third added: “Twitter doesn’t work.”

A fourth person chimed in with: “Yup down as down can be.”

Check your account to see if you’re affected.

If the message “This page is unreachable. I’m screaming… you’re screaming… we’re all screaming… to fix this page. then Twitter is down for you.
