Former President Donald Trump claimed he would bar “markers” from entering the United States, in an awkward campaign blip on Friday.
Trump vowed to take action as he laid out his 2024 program before correcting his mistake during a speech at a rally in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
“I will also direct our government to deny entry to all Communists and Markers,” Trump said.
“You see, we have Marxists, fascists, communists, they are pouring into our country – we will deny them access to our country [country]. The only problem now is, what about all the ones we already have who happen to be politicians, okay.”
