Cannabis with an estimated street value of €1.2 million was seized by Gardaí in Dublin today.

The 210 kilo load was seized after Gardaí, which is part of the Garda National Drugs & Organized Crime Bureau, intercepted two vehicles in Co Dublin’s Brittas area on Friday.

The operation took place as part of an ongoing investigation targeting serious organized criminal activity, Gardaí said.

As part of the operation, Gardaí also searched a commercial building in the Tallaght area of ​​south Dublin.

Two men aged between 40 and 20 have been arrested and are being held tonight at Tallaght Garda station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
