Two men charged in a Dublin car search after they seized crack cocaine

Two men have been charged in connection with a seizure of crack cocaine worth €13,000 following a Garda operation in south central Dublin yesterday.

Amien Crowther, 47, and Moruf Adeyemo, 36, appeared before Judge Conal Gibbons at a session of Dublin District Court at the Criminal Courts this morning.

Crowther, with an address at Millbrook Road, Kilbarrack in Dublin, and Adeyemo, of Bella Place, Dublin 1, have been charged with possession of suspected crack cocaine and possession of suspected crack cocaine with intent to supply others, after a The vehicle they were traveling in was stopped and searched in the Dolphin’s Barn area yesterday as part of an intelligence-led Garda operation.

The Gardaí did not object to bail on the condition that both men provide residential addresses and report to their local Garda stations three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Both men must also provide Gardaí with phone numbers and be reachable.

Attorney Kevin McCrave filed an application for legal aid on Crowther’s behalf, saying his client was on disability.

An application for legal aid was made by lawyer Yvonne Banbury on Adeyemo’s behalf, who has been told to the court that she is unemployed.
