Two young men were taken to Temple Street Children’s Hospital following a public disturbance at Blanchardstown Shopping Center this evening.
Ambulances, fire trucks and SUVs from the Garda armed response unit rushed to the scene at the popular shopping center west of Dublin at around 5:40pm today.
It is understood that some covered and marked cars are also in the center.
Gardai said that the two injured received non-life-threatening injuries.
No arrests have been made at this time.
The investigation is ongoing and An Garda Síochána continues to inspect several sites of interest.
A spokesman said: “Gardaí continues to investigate a public order incident that occurred in the area of Blanchardstown Shopping Center around 5:40 p.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2022.
“Two young men were taken to Temple Street Children’s University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

“No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing and An Garda Síochána continues to examine several locations of interest.
“Gardaí is appealing for any witnesses to this incident to proceed. Any passersby traveling in the area around Blanchardstown Shopping Center at this time who may have camera footage. (including dash cams) were asked to provide this footage to Gardaí.
“Anyone who has been in the Blanchardstown Shopping Center area and has a cell phone recording this incident is asked to contact Gardaí.
