Tyra Banks has jumped to Kim Kardashian’s defense after people claimed her new Skims ad was heavily edited.
The America’s Next Top Model star and several other iconic models lead the new shapewear brand’s campaign.
She said Kim, 41, chose her because of her natural body and she was happy to see in the photos.
During her and the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star on TODAY, she opened up about what she thought of the campaign.
“It’s something I’ve been talking about for decades,” explained Tyra, 48.
The model went on to tell hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager that Kim liked her natural body and wanted to work with her.
“[Kim] said when I was on the cover of Sports Illustrated she hadn’t seen real and big boobs,” Tyra continued.

“She said it gave her self-esteem for her body. So we had a serious conversation and I finally said, ‘Let’s do this!’”
Kim said the two have known each other “for a really long time” and that she has “so much respect for her.”
“So we just had an honest, heart-to-heart talk and she got to know what the brand stands for, why I started the brand and just about all things empowering women,” Kim explained.
The new campaign features models Heidi Klum, Alessandra Ambrosio, Candice Swanepoel and Tyra.
When the advert was shared on social media, the caption read: “Introducing Tyra, Heidi, Alessandra and Candice in their first-ever campaign together.
“When you wear our signature Fits Everybody collection, it doesn’t get more iconic than this.”
Some social media users questioned the authenticity of the photos, accusing them of being “photoshopped”.
“These pics are stunning but of course Tyra looked so stunning and this edit is so bizarre and unnecessary?” claimed one social media user.
