Tyson Fury promoter ‘set to discuss ‘Deontay Wilder vs rising US star Jared Anderson’ later this year”

BOB ARUM revealed that he is ‘set to discuss the fight between Deontay Wilder and rising US star Jared Anderson’ later this year’.
Wilder hasn’t returned since brutal direct loss to Tyson Fury in their epic third match in October.
Prospect Anderson, 22, helped Fury, 33, in the main discussions in both Brit’s rematch and the three-part fight.
And Arum – promoter of the Gypsy king – Anderson is considered a future opponent of Wilder, 36, even as early as late 2022.
He told Sky Sports: “Wilder is an amazing talent. He hits like a mule, as Tyson will attest.
“Pretty much anyone in the heavyweight class would lose to Wilder.
“The only one who will be equipped to beat him, by the end of the year, is Anderson.
“I will be prepared to discuss a potential Wilder vs Anderson fight later this year.
“We are preparing him to be the next heavyweight champion after Fury.”
Anderson, 22, went all out 11-0 by KO and maintained his 100% save rate in his recent win over Oleksandr Teslenko, 29, in December.
Arum compares the 6ft 4in heavyweight to Muhammad Ali as well as Mike Tyson and calls him becomes Fury’s current heir to the throne.
The Hall of Fame promoter said: “Yes, that’s what I really believe he will be.
“When Fury hangs up his gloves, Jared will be in pole position to be the next strong contender.
“Mike Tyson is a terrible boxer who doesn’t show much boxing. Jared has shown boxing ability and prowess.
“He reminds me more of a younger Muhammad Ali than a younger Mike Tyson.”
