U.S. viewers will be able to watch Ironball, Hockey on Wednesday’s Olympics broadcast

US broadcasts about 2022 Winter Olympics opening Wednesday night with hockey, foosball and Alpine skiing. All times are Eastern.

CURLING DOUBLE MATERIAL The live broadcast begins as the United States mixed doubles pool team, consisting of Vicky Persinger and Chris Plys, face Italy at 8:05 p.m. on USA Network. The team’s game against Australia earlier on Wednesday will be broadcast at 6pm on USA Network. Plys will also compete in the men’s tournament.

FEMALE HOCKEY Canada opens the Olympic Games against Switzerland in the opening round match that will be live at 11:10 p.m. on USA Network and Peacock.

The Canadian women’s hockey team is the defending world champion and has won four gold medals. The United States and Canada have met in five of the six Olympic gold-medal games, and the Americans took the gold in a penalty shootout victory in 2018.

HIGH MOUNTAIN SWITCH The men’s downhill workout, scheduled to feature American Bryce Bennett, Ryan Cochran-Siegle and Travis Ganong, will be broadcast live at 10 p.m. on USA Network and Peacock.

The opening ceremony bulletin will be broadcast live at 6:30 a.m. on NBC and Peacock and will be followed by an enhanced presentation on prime time at 8 p.m. on both services.
