UK charts: Nintendo Switch Sports is hit by a pole

We have the latest UK chart data and it looks very similar to last week’s, albeit with some minor notable changes.
Nintendo Switch Sports slips to second place after three weeks at the top of the stack, while Horizon: Forbidden West climbs back to number one. The Zero Dawn sequel saw a significant boost in sales with a surge in PlayStation 5 hardware stocks across the UK, along with a brand new bundle containing the game itself.
Otherwise it’s largely business as usual. Evil Dead: The Game slipped out of the top ten to twelfth place, paving the way for Gran Turismo 7 to creep back up to tenth place. The Switch games remain relatively unchanged, with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Animal Crossing: New Horizons remaining in fourth and ninth place, although Pokemon Legends: Arceus managed to jump up a spot and land in fifth place.
By now it seems everyone looking to buy Kirby and the Forgotten Land has already picked it up, as the pink blob’s latest outing falls out of the top 40 overall, behind the likes of Sonic Forces and Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle.
