UK Eurovision 2022 entry, Sam Ryder teases his ‘lucky charm’ for competition

Sam Ryder will perform his track Space Man at the Eurovision Song Contest Final on Saturday night, with him being selected to represent the UK in this year’s Italy competition.

Sam Ryder will represent the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest in Italy this year, and he will perform in the annual Finals of the annual competition over the weekend.
The singer-songwriter, 32, will take to the stage at the Pala Olimpico Arena in Turin for a live broadcast on Saturday (May 14), with him performing Space Man.
The song has had millions of streams and is one of the bookies’ favorites for this year’s competition, with Sam having a chance to become the UK’s first winner since 1997.
However, he was recently asked if he would enter the contest to help a bit in his quest to win over other entrants.

When asked if he has any rituals or ‘lucky charms’, he teases that it’s important to keep his long, shiny hair in tip-top shape. He replied, “Is hairspray a good luck charm?”
Sam rose to prominence during his first lockdown with his performances of popular songs on the social networking platform TikTok, with which he amassed more than 12 million followers.
He revealed that although he is receiving considerable attention with his account, after writing Space Man – his entry for Eurovision – the labels “recommended [him] transaction. “

Sam said that the track “raised things to the next level,” with him excited to be performing it at the Grand Final. He’s currently trying to “get into the right space for it”.
The performer recalls watching Eurovision with his family as a child, with him commenting that it was “always a fun time” watching the iconic competition.

Sam will not compete in the semi-finals – tonight (May 10) and Thursday (May 12) – as the UK automatically qualified for the Finals as one of the participants. highest paid.
