Ukraine: Zelensky’s friends discuss the situation in Kyiv

A friend of President Volodymyr Zelensky has recounted her horror as she witnessed “arms and legs severed” on the streets of Kyiv.

Nataliya Roman, a singer and former TV presenter in Ukraine, also begged for more food and water for the Ukrainian capital because there were days when he couldn’t eat.

Appearing on Lorraine today, Nataliya – who first met Zelensky when he was in the entertainment industry – opened up about what kind of person he is.

“He had a very big heart… he didn’t stop supporting people,” she said. “He will use all his strength, faith, humour, and I hope we win this fight.”

Explaining what is happening in Kyiv, Nataliya said: “I was in Kyiv the whole time and it was impossible. People woke up at 4:5 a.m. days ago and haven’t slept until now because of that. is impossible.

Nataliya also revealed that she should have a sold-out tour of Ukraine at the moment, but it has apparently been cancelled.
