Ukrainian-born pop duo Bloom Twins are launching a fundraiser
Pop duo Bloom Twins and Secret Cinema founder have created a music and arts event to raise money for Ukraine.
he Ukrainian-born pop group – consisting of twin sisters Anna and Sonia Kuprienko – have teamed up with Secret Cinema’s Fabien Riggall to organize Night For Ukraine.
Next week’s event at the Roundhouse in north London will raise money for the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) appeal to support humanitarian and emergency response in Ukraine and neighboring countries.
The Bloom Twins are helping to curate the event and will perform in the evening. The show also features live music from international artists, spoken poetry, films and DJ sets.
The full line-up is yet to be announced.
Bloom Twins said: “We are Ukrainians and it makes us humbled to see the support our country receives around the world. We are very excited to be part of this project, not just as a one-off achievement, but as creative collaborators.

“It is an absolute honor to represent our country and to help people caught up in this devastating conflict.
“There is so much each of us can do to make a difference and although it says ‘Night for Ukraine’ the impact will last much longer than one night. It will stay in our memories forever.”
The DEC brings together 15 of the UK’s leading charities, including the British Red Cross, Oxfam UK and Save the Children UK, working on the ground in Ukraine and on the country’s borders to help those fleeing the conflict.

Riggall said, “We want Night For Ukraine to inspire action in the creative community, unite for Ukraine and raise urgent funds for DEC.
“We are excited to be working with the Bloom Twins and honored to partner with Sunflower Relief, an inspirational organization helping Ukrainians at this time. We hope this event will inspire artists and venues to create their own nights for Ukraine to support DEC in any way they can during this crisis.”
