The Ukrainian police in the city of Mykolaiv had a surprise gift delivered to their doorstep in the form of a BMW car 6 series appeared with Ukrainians flag and a machine gun turret.

The sports car was deposited outside a police station in the city, which saw half the population leave in just a week due to Russian bombardment.

However, despite that, someone took time out of the war to build a luxury BMW sports car with Ukrainian flags, emblems and more, and hand it over to the local police. .

And they even added what looks like a machine gun turret to the rear of the BMW 6 Series convertible, Daily Star newspaper reported.

Beneath the deadly weapon was a blunt message for the Russian invaders.

It read, in Russian: “Russian warship, come to you.”

The machine gun added to the vehicle appears to be an NSV machine gun.

Twitter user @Sanpaku1970 wrote: “NSV is standard on Russian tanks, maybe this is coming from.

“Makes more sense in a flatbed truck, but they’re probably going away with the rack, before the cataclysm.”

Twitter users joked that this is Germany at war, because BMW is made in Germany.

The car in question currently costs around £60,000 to buy like new – presumably without the gun – according to evo.co.uk.

Local police are most likely to use such a weapon-laden vehicle after nine people were killed in a Russian air strike yesterday.

This city near the much-coveted port city of Odessa and the latest target of Russian aggression as the invading army tries to reach the capital Kyiv on foot.

Mykolaiv, which had about 500,000 inhabitants before the invasion, has now lost more than half of its population, according to local reports.

Both a cancer hospital and an eye clinic were targeted by Russia on Saturday, though casualties from that attack are unknown.
