Orthodox priest calls out to Pope ‘You are a heretic’

A court has ordered a fake nun not to go closer than 150 meters to a convent after reportedly making “false” claims about God before squirming on the church’s altar.

Rachel Mulcahy was served with a restraining order after complaints from priests about her erratic behavior.

She was told to stay away from Clonard Monastery, a Catholic church in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

The woman regularly disrupted church services and upset the elderly, it said.

She now says she is praying for the parishioners of the church after her exile. An application for a full injunction will be heard in Laganside Court later this month.

Rachel Mulcahy was said to have been a “disorder” in the church

She is not a nun – and a court has forbidden her to come within 150 meters of the convent

She told Sunday Life: “Yes, a court has banned me from approaching Clonard.

“I pray for the souls of the parishioners and the priests. I pray for you too. I will need some time to think about this before I decide to speak further.”

But she later wrote a letter declaring her love for Jesus.

“I’m in love. Head over heels. I can’t help it,” she said.

“I love Jesus Christ so much that all I can think about is Him. There is no one I can think of except him. i adore him I never, ever want to leave him.”

At first, Clonard’s staff ignored her, but her behavior became more erratic

Sources who claim to be aware of the restraining order say the woman who made elderly churchgoers feels unwell.

“She turned up at services in Clonard dressed in a brown robe despite not being a nun,” an insider told the publication.

“Her behavior was exactly the same, throwing her arms in the air, making all kinds of wild claims about God, and then squirming on the altar.

“Initially, Clonard staff ignored them, but when there was no sign of an end, they had to do something, so they applied for the injunction,” our source added.

“The congregation was quite old and felt intimidated by Ms. Mulcahy’s behavior. They just want to be left alone to pray in peace.”
