This Morning: Vanessa Feltz on how to spice up your sex life

Vanessa Feltz is again affected by Covid-19.

The This Morning star, 60, who hosts the regular viewer call-in on the ITV show, revealed she tested positive just minutes after it aired on Thursday.

The popular star took to social media after her appearance on the ITV show, as she admitted she was “shocked” to have contracted the virus again.

Vanessa did not expect the positive result at all – although she was “slightly uneasy” at work.

The ITV star took an antigen test after returning home from the studios, as she told her Instagram followers: “Well it is, my goodness. I have Covid so I don’t really know what to say, it’s really a bit of a shock.

“I feel OK, I was just doing This Morning and then I was really coughing while I was on TV and I thought that was a bit weird, got on the back of the bike to get back home, I was a little queasy, which I’ve never had to do.”

Vanessa continued: “I thought I must have a bit of a cold so I better test and there it is. When I send Love to someone in this situation, I know I’m very, very lucky to have avoided it for so long. Big kiss and hugs.”

Following her admission, a number of celebrity pals flocked to Vanessa to shower her with well wishes.

The TV star’s daughter Allegrah commented: “Sorry mum! I wish you better! Will send chicken soup if that helps.”

Meanwhile, Holly Willoughby, co-host of Vanessa on This Morning, wrote: Oh no!!!! hope you are ok Send lots of love.”

It comes just days after Vanessa shared a racy confession about her sex life as she gave This Morning viewers tips on how to spice up your own sex life.

The 60-year-old presenter, who is engaged to her husband-to-be Ben, 47, has always been very open about her own bedroom antics and during a segment on the ITV show she tried to share her own wisdom with others.

Sharing her advice for those looking to spice up their sex life, Vanessa said: “You could send a message saying don’t forget to pick up the dry cleaner, you send a message saying ‘Where to Devil is my white shirt’. or you could instead or additionally send a message with some cheeky content. And why not?

“And if it does, then it could at least trigger something in your head. Lights up a bit – maybe tonight could be the night, or maybe tonight will be the night. It’s going to be a little bit exciting, it’s a sexual climate thing.”

She added: “So you don’t just go from defrosting the freezer and emptying the dishwasher and then expecting to have great sex. It’s not sexy, but if you have a bit of a climate.”
