Victoria Beckham’s ‘weakness’ for Romeo’s girlfriend after Brooklyn’s wife was snubbed

Romeo Beckham’s girlfriend Mia Regan is said to be very different from Brooklyn’s new wife Nicola Peltz and Posh Spice is thrilled to have the 19-year-old British model as her ‘protégé’.

Victoria Beckham is set to have another daughter-in-law soon.

Just this month, billionaire heiress Nicola Peltz was welcomed into the family after tying the knot with eldest son Brooklyn Beckham.

Star-studded guests watched as the young couple married at an extravagant ceremony at their family’s £76million beach house in Florida.

Victoria was incredibly proud to see her firstborn get married but reportedly found it “a bit difficult” to hold back as the big day was organized entirely by Nicola’s family.

With a background as a successful fashion designer and with her own label, Victoria was the hot ticket to design Nicola’s wedding dress, but those plans were scrapped.

However, it could be a very different story if Romeo marries his girlfriend Mia Regan, who seems much closer to Victoria.

Romeo, the second son of David and Victoria, is said to have dated the British model back in 2018.

The couple were first snapped together after Victoria’s SS20 runway show in September 2019, but went public with their relationship a few months earlier.

In May 2019, Romeo confirmed they were celebrating their first anniversary as a couple by posting some selfies with the caption, “Happy 1 year mooch love you so much.”

“Mooch” is the adorable nickname the soccer pro has for his girlfriend as she affectionately calls him “Ro Ro”.

Mia, who hails from the town of Chippenham in Wiltshire near the Cotswolds, left school last year and is now working as a model and influencer.

Already at the age of 12 she was discovered by the top model agency Storm at the clothes show in Birmingham and is today one of the most influential personalities on the scene.

Mia really rose to fame during lockdown when her creative fashion collages became popular and Tatler dubbed her “The It Girl of Lockdown Three”.

Now she travels the world working for upscale fashion magazines like Vogue and has been given free rein to design a campaign for French luxury fashion house Balmain.

Her father Des Regan is senior fundraising manager for the Wiltshire Air Ambulance while mother Helen has supported her fashion career.

“It’s so good that reworking and upcycling has become a trend,” the teenager once said. “I recently found my mother’s clothes in the attic and am wearing her old Vivienne Westwood shirts to school.”

Mia has certainly gotten the seal of approval from her boyfriend’s famous mother, Victoria, as she has modeled for the VVB collection.

The pair have collaborated to promote Victoria’s fashion brand on social media, and the designer even included the Tik Tok star’s artwork in a 2020 drop.

In February this year, the couple was spotted front row at designer Supriya Lele’s AW 2022 show at London Fashion Week.

Mia is so close to Posh Spice that she’s not afraid to tease her and tries to recreate Victoria’s signature model’s raised-leg pose.

Victoria shared the hilarious snap of her son Romeo’s friend trying to copy her move while wearing a sports bra and leggings from her Reebok fitness range.

But Posh thinks she needs more practice as the snap came with the caption: “Work in progress #VBpose”

On Valentine’s Day, Romeo shared a sweet snap of the couple on vacation along with the words, “Happy Valentine’s Day mooch. Love you so much @minimoocher.”

Celebrating their anniversary earlier this year, the two shared a series of beloved snaps, including one of Mia trying to get a bit off Romeo’s face.

“2 years NUFIN BUT LOVEEEE! Grate for you stink,” the model wrote.

Now it looks like Romeo will follow his big brother and take the plunge into marriage – but there will be a few differences.

Mia and Romeo are said to be “devoted” to each other and have started talking about their long-term future together.

While wedding bells may be ringing on the horizon, it’s believed their nuptials will be just a tad more low-key than Brooklyn’s £3million party.

A source told The Mirror the couple discussed marriage while on a family holiday, explaining: “Mia is close to Romeo’s mother, Victoria. It was clear that the couple wants a long-term future together and have already spoken about being soul mates.

“Marrying young and quick seems to be in the Beckham tradition.

“They are infatuated with each other and definitely a lifetime in it. They’ve also talked about how much they want a big family and can’t wait to get started.”

Not wanting to step on Brooklyn’s toes, Romeo reportedly postponed the engagement until his big brother Nicola tied the knot.

“Romeo always wanted to wait for Brooklyn to get married and avoid anything that might steal the limelight from his brother,” the source added.

“Mia is a very different woman to Nicola Peltz and has always said she would like to get married in the UK, resulting in a far more casual and low key wedding than the ones Nicola and Brooklyn had.”
