Victoria Drive in Eastbourne closed after three car accidents

A ROAD is closed after a three car crash on a residential street.

The accident happened around 2.30pm this afternoon on Victoria Drive in Eastbourne.

Police and Fire Services are on site between the A259 Church Street and Dacre Road.

It’s unclear if anyone was injured, but one person was cut out of a vehicle.

A black Audi, a white Peugeot and a red car can be seen across the street.

A spokeswoman for East Sussex Fire and Rescue Services said: “We were called at 3.27pm to attend a three vehicle RTC on Victoria Drive in Eastbourne.

“Crews from Eastbourne and Newhaven were present. We extricated a person from a vehicle. This person was placed in the care of Secamb.

“We left the crime scene at 4:18 p.m.”

Sussex Police have been asked for comment.
